XPeng recalls G6 and G9 over tow-bar fault

The Netherlands’ vehicle authority listed a recall for XPeng’s G6 and G9 on 26 October. The tow-bar lock may fail, allowing the bar to turn unexpectedly and increasing the risk of a crash. The notice lists 841 affected cars in the Netherlands. Owners should ask an authorised XPeng partner to replace the tow bar. Until then, the notice says not to use it for vertical loads, such as a bicycle carrier.
