In a report published on 7 October from XPeng's L03 presentation near Basel, Germany chief Markus Schrick forecast 22,000 vehicles in Germany in 2027. He also projected 10,000 cars for 2026, describing the outlook as ambitious but realistic. In a 15 September interview, he had said the initial 2027 plan was 15,000 cars and that a higher figure had not yet been decided. Both annual figures are management expectations.

XPeng passed 10,000 registrations in Germany in September 2026, making Germany its fourth market outside China to reach five figures, after Israel, Norway and Denmark. The Federal Motor Transport Authority (KBA) counted 1,250 new XPengs in September, taking 2026 to 7,023 and the total since sales began in May 2024 to 10,407. XPeng marked its 3,000th German delivery in December 2025, and KBA's count stood at 3,384 at the end of that year, so the last 7,000 took nine months. XPeng has not announced it; XPulse counted it from KBA's September figures, published on 5 October.

XPENG Germany says the G9L will make its European debut at the Paris Motor Show (12–18 October) with five, six or seven seats, including a six-seat version with individual seats developed specifically for Europe and shown to the public for the first time there. In China, XPeng sells the 5.12-metre G9L only as a five-seater, with no third row. The car is not yet on sale in Europe: prices, powertrains and exact specifications are to be announced at the show, and the G9 stays in the European range.

In a t-online interview published on 15 September, XPeng's Central Europe chief Markus Schrick said German sales could approach 10,000 cars in 2026. He described the existing 8,000-car target as ambitious but realistic. He said the initial plan for 2027 was 15,000 cars and that a higher target was possible. No decision had been made on raising the 2027 target.
