XPeng has accumulated more than 4,500 owners in Hong Kong, Economic Digest reported on 30 October, citing Lu Zhaoxiang, general manager of local distributor Sime Darby Peng Yue Motors. The figure was disclosed at the G9L presentation, according to the outlet.

Orders open G9L opens for order in Hong Kong from HK$699,900
XPeng’s Hong Kong distributor is taking G9L orders from HK$699,900 for the seven-seat Ultra and HK$759,900 for the six-seat Ultra. Both versions have all-wheel drive and a petrol engine that generates electricity for the electric motors. The online store requires a non-refundable HK$30,000 deposit; the listed prices remain subject to Hong Kong Customs approval and the distributor’s final confirmation. The local specification sheet lists a 63.3 kWh battery and 280 km of electric range under the WLTP test standard.

Milestone XPeng's first megawatt charging station opens in Hong Kong
XPeng and the Hong Kong charging operator Halo switched on an X-Energy megawatt charging station on 15 September 2026 and opened it officially on 22 September, at the Tung Po outdoor car park in San Po Kong: one 1 MW, 1,000 A charger and three of up to 600 kW, with 400 kWh of on-site storage that holds the grid connection to 240 kW. It is open to drivers of all brands and is described as Hong Kong's first publicly accessible megawatt charger. Co-President Brian Gu put the overseas plan at about 10,000 supercharging guns over three years, around 500 of them in Hong Kong; for Europe, Chairman He Xiaopeng has given more than 4,000 fast-charging points by 2028.
