GX to launch in the Middle East in two weeks, XPeng vice-president Yu Tao says

XPeng’s large six-seat GX SUV will launch in the Middle East in two weeks, group vice-president Yu Tao said on Weibo on 17 October. Earlier that day, XPeng said large-scale GX shipments had begun from Lianyungang to the Middle East and Africa, following its first overseas shipments in August. On 1 October, Wu Anfei, general manager of XPeng’s XP product portfolio, reported more than 3,000 GX orders in the United Arab Emirates and other Middle East markets. XPeng’s UAE GX page already invites pre-orders but does not list a price. XPulse calculates GX exports at 906 cars and kits worldwide from June to September, using China Passenger Car Association wholesale figures minus China retail sales. The reported Middle East orders are more than three times that worldwide export total.
