XPeng’s president aims for 200,000–300,000 sales abroad in 2027

Reported

XPeng’s president, Wang Fengying, set an ambition of 200,000 to nearly 300,000 cars abroad in 2027, in a group interview at the Paris Motor Show on 12 October. ITheat and automotive commentator Wu Pei, both at the interview, reported it as an export challenge rather than formal guidance, with growth focused on ten key markets. On CPCA’s figures, XPeng exported 45,014 cars and kits in 2025 and 59,479 in the first nine months of 2026, a record 10,055 of them in September. Wang also said SUVs would make up the larger share of the new models due in 2027–2028, with about three sedans and the X9 as the MPV, and that almost all future models would be developed for global markets.
