Milestone First locally assembled G6s handed over to customers in Malaysia
Bermaz XPeng delivered the first batch of locally assembled G6s to customers at a group handover at Kuala Lumpur Tower, reported on 7 September 2026 — three months after the first car came off EP Manufacturing's line in Melaka. The locally assembled G6 keeps the imported car's three versions and prices, from RM158,888; customer deliveries of the new X9 have also begun nationwide.

Launch XPeng G6 launched in Malaysia; deliveries commence
The G6 was launched in Malaysia on 27 August 2024 as a fully imported model through sole distributor Bermaz XPeng Sdn Bhd, with XPeng saying the delivery phase was commencing.

Partner announced Bermaz Auto secures XPeng distribution for Malaysia
Bermaz Auto told Bursa Malaysia that it had secured the rights to distribute XPeng in Malaysia through a new group company, Bermaz Xpeng, with the G6 as the first model. XPeng confirmed the partnership in its ASEAN announcement on 26 March 2024.
