XPeng unveils the MONA L05, its third MONA model

Confirmed

XPeng unveiled the MONA L05 on 12 October, the third model in its lower-priced MONA range after the M03 sedan and the L03 SUV. The company calls it a large five-seat SUV for young buyers and says it is coming soon; it gave no price, launch date or order opening. Jiang Wen, who runs the MONA range, said display cars will reach stores soon, and chief executive He Xiaopeng said he would share more details on 13 October. A filing with China's industry ministry in May listed the car at 4,870 mm long, in battery-electric and range-extender versions. XPeng said in August that the L05 would launch in China in the fourth quarter, the last of this year's four new SUVs, and set itself the challenge of passing 60,000 sales in a single month that quarter.
