He Xiaopeng joins Ant Group's board as an independent director

He Xiaopeng, XPeng's chairman and chief executive, became an independent director of Ant Group on 22 June 2026, when Ant's new board took office. XPeng disclosed the appointment in its 2026 interim report, filed in Hong Kong on 28 September, where he still holds both of his XPeng roles. He sold UCWeb, the company he co-founded, to Alibaba in 2014 and held senior posts there until he left in August 2017.
