He Xiaopeng takes charge of XPeng's robotics business as its CEO

Reported

In an internal letter on 10 June, chairman and chief executive He Xiaopeng said he would also personally serve as CEO of XPeng's robotics business. He compared the IRON humanoid robot's stage to XPeng's car business eight years earlier, before the G3, set mass production for the end of 2026, and said the robots would first be used in XPeng's own stores, greeting and guiding customers. In August the robotics business, held in Dogotix, agreed its first outside financing, in which companies owned by He Xiaopeng and co-president Brian Gu also subscribe.
