Second-generation VLA starts rolling out across the China line-up as XOS 6.3.0

Confirmed

XPeng began the full rollout of its second-generation VLA driving model as XOS 6.3.0, together with a distilled Lite version for cars on the Turing Max chip; its vice-president announced it on 22 September, saying distribution had begun the afternoon before, after staged testing the previous week. XPeng describes the new model as adding time to its physical-world foundation model: an ‘Infini-VLA’ long-sequence architecture that holds 30 seconds of the road behind it, and an ‘X-Foresight’ world model that predicts other road users up to six seconds ahead. It also claims 3.5 times the edge model parameters and an end-to-end response speed improved by 300%, figures it first gave when it unveiled the upgrade on 27 August.
