XPeng launches the G9L flagship SUV in China

Confirmed

XPeng launched the G9L, a 5,120 mm five-seat flagship SUV, at an event in China on 17 September, in both battery-electric and extended-range versions. It runs XPeng's VLA 2.0 model on the same Turing AI chip as the company's IRON humanoid robot, and is built in Guangzhou and in Graz, Austria. XPeng says the car has completed 192 crash tests across four protocols and 6.74 million kilometres of road testing in 26 countries, and that it will reach 64 markets, starting with a global launch at the Paris Motor Show on 12 October.
