He Xiaopeng challenges XPeng to pass 60,000 sales in a single month in the fourth quarter

On XPeng's second-quarter earnings call on 24 August, chairman and chief executive He Xiaopeng said he expected sales to rise sharply in the fourth quarter and set the company the challenge of passing 60,000 in a single month — roughly 58% more than the 38,027 vehicles delivered in July. He tied the step up to the G9L, launching in September, and to the MONA L05, a mid-size SUV due in the fourth quarter and positioned above the existing MONA L03.
